PRIVACY POLICY — TIDIVO CLEAN
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Privacy contact: khyberbh@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy describes how Tidivo Clean handles information when you use its file, media, storage, network and optional home-screen features. It also explains information handled by enabled advertising, analytics, attribution, configuration, messaging and diagnostic services.
1. Files, photos and videos
With the relevant access, Tidivo Clean reads accessible file names, locations, formats, sizes and media information. Features may read image or video contents to display previews, identify similar or duplicate items, compress selected media and carry out selected deletions. These scanning and compression operations take place on your device. They do not require uploading your selected file contents to our server.
Generated media, temporary files and selected deletion results are stored or handled on your device. Review selections before deleting or replacing files. Removing a file is different from deleting analytics or advertising records. When you choose to open a file in another app, that app receives permission to read the selected file and handles it under its own privacy practices.
2. App information and usage
Tidivo Clean reads information about apps visible to it, such as app names, package names, icons and installation information, to provide app views and home-screen features. Android may restrict the available information.
With usage access, activity and less-used-app features read Android app-usage records. The home screen also keeps local launch records for recent and frequent app views. These usage records support local features; separate analytics events may describe interactions with those features.
The Play listing check sends selected visible app package names to Google Play to check whether a listing is available. Google therefore receives those queried package names and ordinary connection information, including the source IP address. A missing listing does not establish that an app is harmful.
3. Home-screen features, notifications and backup
You may choose Tidivo Clean as your default home app. Home-screen features can use app shortcuts, folders, widgets and local layout settings. You can change your default home app in Android settings.
Notification posting permission allows reminders to appear. Where enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a registration token and delivery information for push messages and topic subscriptions. Refusing permission to display notifications does not necessarily stop push registration, analytics or advertising.
Notification-listener access is a separate Android setting. If you enable it, home-screen badges and notification popups can read active notification details, including titles and text, and support opening or dismissing notifications. This content is handled locally for those home-screen features; it is not part of the app's analytics event payloads. Notifications may contain sensitive information, so grant this access only if you want those features.
Android may back up and restore supported launcher settings and databases according to your device, backup provider and system settings. This is separate from app analytics and is not a backup or recovery service for all your files or deleted media.
4. Network and connection information
Network features read available connection state and Wi-Fi information, subject to Android restrictions. Download-speed testing transfers data from a configured endpoint; Cloudflare is the default fallback. The connection check makes an HTTPS request to Facebook. These destinations receive ordinary connection metadata, including your IP address. Speed tests can consume substantial internet data.
A successful connection check or displayed Wi-Fi result is not proof that a network is secure, free from interception or suitable for sensitive activity. Network endpoints and operational settings may change through remote configuration.
5. Analytics, attribution, diagnostics and device checks
Enabled services can process app interactions, event names and parameters, app and operating-system versions, device characteristics, network information, identifiers and diagnostic information for the purposes described below:
- Firebase Analytics and AppMetrica: understanding feature use, app activity and performance.
- Adjust and Google Play install-referrer services: installation attribution, campaign measurement and advertising-event measurement.
- Firebase Remote Config: retrieving operational settings for the app.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivering configured push messages.
- Firebase Crashlytics: diagnosing crashes and errors using information such as stack traces, app and device details and installation identifiers.
Attribution and advertising measurement may use an advertising identifier, SDK-generated identifiers, a locally generated installation identifier and installation timing information. An installation identifier is not a user account, but it may distinguish installations and be associated with measurement events.
The app evaluates device and software characteristics, SIM-state and country signals, and developer-setting signals for invalid-traffic detection and advertising eligibility. It may report derived risk indicators and associated event information. This does not mean that every raw device signal is sent to every provider. Country or approximate location may be inferred from IP or network information even when precise-location permission is not used. AppMetrica's location-tracking feature is disabled in the app's integration.
6. Advertising and third-party recipients
Tidivo Clean contains advertising. AppLovin MAX and TopOn/ThinkUp can mediate ads from enabled advertising partners. Depending on the partner and configuration, advertising services may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, IP address, approximate location, ad requests, impressions, interactions and revenue events to deliver and measure ads and detect invalid traffic.
Ads can appear within the app and, where enabled, in home-screen flows before opening another app from its launcher icon. Such an ad is provided through Tidivo Clean and its advertising partners; it does not mean the app being opened supplied the ad.
The integrations that actually run depend on configuration, available services and runtime conditions. Third-party providers process information under their own policies and applicable agreements. Their roles may differ by activity. For provider information, see Firebase's privacy information at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy, Google's policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy, Adjust at https://www.adjust.com/, AppMetrica at https://appmetrica.yandex.com/, AppLovin at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/, and TopOn at https://www.toponad.com/.
Information is disclosed to the providers needed for the features and purposes described above, to an external viewer when you choose to open a file, and where required by applicable law. These descriptions should not be read as saying that all information remains on your device or that granting a file permission authorizes every advertising use.
7. Permissions and your choices
Depending on your Android version and chosen features, the app may request or use:
- All-files special access, or older read/write storage access, for accessible-file scanning and management. Media-related permissions may also be declared. Android restrictions still apply, including restrictions on other apps' private storage.
- Usage access for app-activity and less-used-app views.
- Notification posting and, separately, optional notification-listener access.
- Network and Wi-Fi state for connection features, and internet access for network requests and enabled services.
- Available phone/SIM-state signals and advertising identifiers for device eligibility and measurement.
- Default-home selection, widget approval and system uninstall confirmation for the corresponding home-screen and app-management features.
You can review or revoke relevant access in Android settings. Features that depend on revoked access may stop working. You can also use the advertising-privacy controls offered by Android and applicable providers. Those controls do not necessarily disable all measurement or delete previously transmitted records. Android permissions and accepting the Terms of Service are not substitutes for any separately required advertising or privacy consent.
8. Retention, deletion and security
Local settings, launch records, cached results and installation state remain subject to app storage and system controls. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes app-private state, subject to Android behavior. Exported files, shared-storage media, operating-system backups and records already held by service providers may remain.
Information held outside your device is retained according to the purpose for which it was processed, applicable legal requirements and the relevant provider's retention practices. Contact us to request information about records associated with your use or to exercise applicable deletion rights. Some provider records require action through that provider. We do not promise that uninstalling removes all remote records or that deleted files can be recovered.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Access to sensitive device information should be limited through your Android settings. Do not send sensitive file contents in a support request unless necessary to resolve your request.
9. International processing and privacy rights
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable safeguards and rights depend on the recipient, transfer and applicable law. Where a legal basis is required, processing must have an applicable basis, such as providing requested functionality, a permitted legitimate interest, a legal obligation or consent where required. This notice does not treat a system permission as blanket consent to all processing.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain your personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a data-protection authority. Use the privacy contact above to make a request. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify and locate the relevant records; do not provide unnecessary sensitive information.
If you are a parent or guardian concerned that a child has provided personal information through Tidivo Clean, contact us so the matter can be assessed and addressed under applicable law.
10. Contact and changes
